Fancy a relaxing day by the water? We're excited to announce that the James Hargreaves 2025 fishing day is just around the corner!
Put a peg in your calendars for Friday, August 1st, because we're heading back to Lindholme Lakes near Doncaster for what promises to be a fantastic day out.
We'll be setting up at three of the lakes – Bonsai, Benny's, and Loco – so there'll be plenty of space for everyone to cast a line and enjoy the surroundings.
To kick things off, we're inviting everyone to join us for a hearty breakfast in the café from 8 am. It's the perfect opportunity to catch up with fellow fishing enthusiasts and draw your peg for the day. If you're eager to get your spot ready, you can head out and set up before we start fishing at 10:30 am. But feel free to take your time and ease into the day – it's all about relaxation, after all.
Fishing will continue until 4 pm, giving everyone five and a half hours to try and land a decent catch. While carp is the main target, the lakes are also home to many other species that you can also reel in.
And of course, it wouldn't be a James Hargreaves event without a bit of friendly competition. We'll be awarding prizes to the top three anglers of the day, as well as section prizes for each of the three lakes. For those feeling a bit lucky, there will also be a £5 option pool.
