Boardroom Changes at James Hargreaves

Our Managing Director, Gordon Rothwell, is retiring from his role.

Previously the Purchasing Director, Mr Bridge succeeds Gordon Rothwell, whose family has owned the company since 1968. Mr Rothwell has decided to retire as MD but will continue as company Chairman.

Bill Davies, who held the role of Sales Director for 13 years, has delayed his retirement to take on the new part-time position of Commercial Director. Gary Beaumont will step into Bill's old role as our new Sales Director.

Our two other Regional Directors, Martin Healy and Simon Jackson have been appointed National Branch Directors for the Western and Eastern regions, respectively.

"Martin and Simon will be supported in their new roles by Regional Managers, yet to be appointed. We have a talented and experienced team, so we fully envisage that these positions will be filled from within."
