About

Mixergy are market leaders in smart and connected hot water tanks. They help you live better, save money and reduce your impact on the environment. 

The Mixergy tank was conceived in the Department of Engineering Science at Oxford University by Pete Armstrong and Ren Kang who joined forces to compete at the 2014 "Climate-KIC" accelerator competition.

The vision was to develop an ever-expanding network of intelligent hot water tanks which could provide flexibility to the grid, enabling more renewable energy, and supporting the clean energy transition. Pete and Ren went on to win the €100,000 prize along with accelerator support to set up Mixergy.
