Guess the Flow Rate & You Could Win an AquaScan Meter!

Alright everyone. We've got a bit of fun lined up for you – a chance to show off your skills and maybe bag yourself a top bit of kit while you're at it!

We're running a "Guess the Flow Rate" competition over on our Facebook and Instagram pages. We’ve teamed up with the good folks at Salamander Pumps, and they've put up a cracking prize: a brand new AquaScan Digital Water Meter. You know the score – dead handy for getting proper flow, heat, pressure and hardness readings on the job, saves a lot of guesswork.

So, What's the Craic?

Easy one, this.

1. Have a look at the video we’ll be posting on Facebook and Insta – it shows water coming out of a tap.
2. Reckon you know your flow rates? Guess the Litres per Minute (L/min) just by watching.
3. Stick your guess in the comments on the competition post (on FB or Insta, your choice!).
4. Closest guess to the actual rate we measured wins the AquaScan. Simple as that!

How Do I Get Involved?

Easy peasy. The comp runs from Friday, 4th April 2025 (16:00 AM BST) right through to Wednesday, 30th April 2025 (11:59 PM BST). Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Give our page a Like OR Follow if you haven't already: https://www.facebook.com/JamesHargreavesPlumbing
  2. Go to the proper Facebook competition post with the video.
  3. Pop your guess in the comments below it (e.g., "Reckon that's 7.8 L/min").
• More of an Instagram Bod?
  1. Make sure you're Following us over there: https://www.instagram.com/james_hargreaves_plumbing/
  2. Go to the right Instagram competition post with the video.
  3. Chuck your guess in the comments (e.g., "Call it 9.2 L/min").

Hold Your Horses - One Entry Each!

Now, be fair! Just one guess per person across both sites. Don't go sticking guesses on both Facebook and Instagram – we'll have to disqualify additional entries, more paperwork for us!

Right, this one's a little thank you for your business. To be in with a shout of winning, you need to have bought something from us at James Hargreaves (any branch or online) in the last six months – that’s anytime between 30th October 2024 and 30th April 2025. We’ll need to check this with the winner, so have your order number or receipt handy just in case!
