Compared to traditional options, transitioning to an air source heat pump can result in substantial savings over its lifespan – exceeding £3,000 compared to gas boilers, exceeding £6,000 compared to oil, and surpassing £9,000 compared to LPG."

Bevan further emphasized the need for education: "Our research shows a significant knowledge gap – a staggering 68% of homeowners are unaware of the superior energy efficiency of heat pumps compared to gas boilers. While gas boilers operate at 70-90% efficiency, heat pumps boast a remarkable 300-400% efficiency.
