Burnley Site steps towards Net Zero through a Major Solar Power installation.

A Milestone in Sustainability

James Hargreaves has achieved a significant milestone: its Burnley site, which is now close to net-zero carbon.

Powering the Future

This major step towards net-zero transformation was made possible by the installation of 491 Lomi 415 solar panels across four rooftops. These panels, coupled with two Solis 3-phase inverters, generate clean energy to power the entire site, including buildings, equipment, and vehicles.

Partnering for a Greener Future

Centreco, the UK's leading installer of solar energy systems for business, played a crucial role in the installation process. Based in Chorley, their expertise and commitment to sustainability were instrumental in bringing this project to fruition.

Leading the Way

David Eddison, Operations Director at James Hargreaves, expressed his pride in this achievement, stating, "This is a significant step towards a more sustainable future, and we're excited to lead the way in our industry, not only through our own operations but also by equipping installers with the knowledge and resources they need to contribute to the UK's low carbon future."

As James Hargreaves continues to innovate and grow, it remains dedicated to sustainability and environmental responsibility. This latest achievement solidifies the company's position as a leader in the industry and sets the stage for a more sustainable future.
