Great customer service - Ian was really helpful finding us an unbranded replacement dual flush press button unit for our ideal standard toilet. Otherwise we would have had to replace complete flush unit with associated plumbing ‘headache’.

Had an problem fitting a replacement mixer tap in the kitchen with a spur for the dishwasher. Spoke to Ian, showed him some photos of the issue and he came up with a solution and talked me through how everything works and why it does what it does and equipped me with the knowledge to finish the job myself in 5 mins when I got home. A very satisfied customer here.

visited today with a problem that no other so called plumbing shops could solve . was greeted by Ian a very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable chap, told him problem he solved it within minutes with extra tips for fitting, could not have better. Definity going back.(wife wants new bathroom)

I had an issue with my vanity unit draw clashing with my pipework. I showed the guys some photos and they quickly came up with a solution. Went home fitted it, worked first time ! These guys are geniuses, really friendly, know their stuff and at a reasonable price too. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. Thanks guys !!!

The store was recommended to me by a builder/neighbour, after I had a radiator leak. On two occasions now I have been given lots of support and advice, above and beyond what you would expect from a store. I would highly recommend them.

Ive been struggling to fit my victoria plumb unit as all the fittings they supplied me with have been wrong. (On 2x occasions) 10 minutes with ian (who served me) and he had got togther the parts i needed and he even loosley assmebled them for me so i could copy it when i got home. Excellent service. I won't go anywhere else now.

Popped into James Hargreaves Chester 2 days ago to enquire about a replacement mixer shower tap as mine was leaking. I was greeted by Ian (later discovered he is the branch manager) and what a really helpful lovely chap. Despite being a normal customer and not in the 'trade' he could not have been more helpful if he tried. He understood what my issue was, got the replacement shower unit and because I am clearly an amateur who has never done this task before he took it out the box, explained all the parts and how to fit it. He even gave me 2 better quality rubber washers free of charge. I must have been there 20mins and even though I'll probably not go back again for years he was super helpful. I was also very pleased with the price which I thought was competitive and very reasonable (5 year warranty too). Initially I wasn't sure if I should go in as it looked very much like a trade centre but need not have worried, Ian was very welcoming. I would highly recommend based on my personal experience. I'd definitely go back on the odd occasions I need some plumbing items.

I was so impressed by Ian’s knowledge and advice . I went in at 9am on a Saturday after we had taken a radiator off the wall and unable to stop spurting water. Not knowing anything about plumbing, Ian was able to tell me step by step how to fit the end cap so my radiator doesn’t leak and allow us to have hot water and heating once again. His advice was fantastic and now we can shower and have a warm house. Thank you so much! Definitely come here over other known places as the advice and customer service is 10/10. Thanks again
