How It Works: Buy a Cylinder, Get an Entry
There are no complicated entry forms or registration pages to worry about. Entry is completely automatic.
Every single individual Gledhill or Instinct cylinder you buy from James Hargreaves between 1 July 2026 and 30 September 2026 counts as one entry into our random draw.
If you buy one cylinder on an invoice, that’s one entry. If you pick up three cylinders for a larger job, you automatically get three entries. There is no limit to how many entries you can rack up over the three months, giving our regular installers a massive chance to win.
Note: The draw is open to all standard James Hargreaves Trade Account holders. Contract accounts are excluded.

Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is James Hargreaves (Plumbers Merchants) Limited, trading as James Hargreaves Plumbing Supplies, company number 00188491, head office address: James Hargreaves Plumbing Supplies, Parliament Street, Burnley, BB11 3JT.
2. Promotion
The promotion is the James Hargreaves Gledhill & Instinct Cylinder Q3 Deals Prize Draw. Eligible James Hargreaves trade account customers who purchase qualifying Gledhill or Instinct cylinders during the promotional period will automatically receive entries into a random prize draw to win one of ten prizes.
3. Promotional period
The promotional period opens at 00:01 on 1 July 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 30 September 2026. Only qualifying purchases invoiced by James Hargreaves during this period will be eligible.
4. Eligibility
- The promotion is open to James Hargreaves trade account holders aged 18 or over.
- Contract accounts are excluded from the promotion.
- Employees, officers and directors of the promoter, its group companies, suppliers, agencies or anyone professionally connected with the promotion, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
- The promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and to exclude any entry or account that does not meet these terms.
5. Qualifying purchases
- A qualifying purchase is the purchase of an individual Gledhill or Instinct cylinder from James Hargreaves during the promotional period, as recorded by the promoter’s invoice records.
- Each individual qualifying unit purchased equals one entry into the prize draw (for example, the purchase of three qualifying cylinders on a single invoice will result in three entries).
- Purchases that are cancelled, credited, refunded, returned, unpaid, not settled in accordance with the applicable account terms, or otherwise invalidated will not qualify.
- Purchases must be made at the normal applicable trade price. No additional charge is made for entry into the prize draw, and the price of qualifying products has not been increased to reflect entry into the promotion.
6. Entries
- Entry is automatic for eligible trade accounts making qualifying purchases during the promotional period. There is no separate entry form.
- There is no limit to the number of entries an eligible trade account can receive during the promotional period, but each trade account may win a maximum of one prize.
- Where a customer has multiple branches, buyers, delivery locations, sub-accounts or linked accounts under the same trade account, these will be treated as one trade account for the purpose of this promotion.
7. Prizes
There are ten prizes available, with a total approximate prize value of £2,000. Prizes are subject to availability. If any stated prize is unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and there is no cash alternative.
8. Winner selection
- The prize draw will take place on 9 October 2026.
- Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries using a random number generator.
- The first valid trade account drawn will win one prize. Further valid accounts will then be drawn until all ten prizes have been allocated.
- A maximum of one prize may be won per trade account. If the same trade account is drawn more than once, the duplicate draw will be disregarded and another valid trade account will be drawn.
- The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Winner notification and prize delivery
- Winners will be contacted using the contact details held on their James Hargreaves trade account. The promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact winners to arrange prize delivery or collection.
- If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to claim their prize within 28 days of the draw date, the promoter reserves the right to forfeit the prize and select a runner-up from the remaining valid entries.
- Prizes will usually be supplied within 30 days of a valid claim being established, unless otherwise agreed with the winner.
- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date account contact details.
10. Publication of winners
- The promoter intends to announce winners on the James Hargreaves website and social media channels. Winner information may include the winning trade account or business name and general location.
- Winners may object to publication or ask for the amount of published information to be reduced by contacting the promoter. The promoter may still be required to provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority or another competent authority if requested.
11. Data protection
- Customer account information will be used only for the administration of this promotion, including verifying entries, contacting winners, arranging prize fulfilment and publishing winner information as described above.
- Entry into the promotion does not create any additional marketing consent.
- Personal data will be handled in accordance with the promoter’s privacy policy.
12. General
- The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry or account where it reasonably believes there has been a breach of these terms, fraud, abuse, manipulation, or conduct that undermines the fairness of the promotion.
- The promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
- The promotion and these terms are governed by English law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- By participating in the promotion, eligible trade account holders agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
