About

ThermaSkirt was first seen on BBC's Dragons Den back in 2008, where Managing Director Martin Wadsworth came face-to-face with the fearsome Dragons. While not one of the Dragons invested, Martin wasn't discouraged from continuing on, and built up the business and has since found major success. ThermaSkirt is now being sold in well over 20 countries and DiscreteHeat has secured many high-profile contracts since.

Product Portfolio

ThermaSkirt is an alternative way to conventional radiators to heat your home. By running the heating along as part of your skirting board, a homeowner can then use the entirety of their walls in whatever way they wish, with no bulky radiators getting in the way!

ThermaSkirt is made using a highly conductive aluminium alloy that radiates heat up to 5x times more effectively than conventional radiator steel.

ThermaSkirt can be connected to any typical central heating system, boiler or heat pump.

ThermaSkirt H2O

ThermaSkirt H2O is the option to go for if you are wanting to install ThermaSkirt in conjunction with your currently existing central heating system, whether that's being powered by a boiler or heat pump source.

Many different profile styles are available.

ThermaSkirt E

ThermaSkirt E is your solution if you are looking for heating provided by electricity rather than a boiler. This is suitable for smaller, well-insulated spaces such as new build homes.

With more and more electrical energy being generated from renewable sources, it can also help to reduce the overall carbon impact of a building. Once electric heating is installed, as more and more of the grid ‘goes green’ swathes of houses can be automatically upgraded to low-carbon heating, without any disturbance or modification. Cost Saving

Combining the skirting and radiators in one, creates a very cost-effective, budget-conscious heating solution whether it be a new build or retrofit. Provided in a pre-finished, tough epoxy powder paint finish with a removable ‘top gasket’ (instead of requiring caulking), it is a rapid, dry installation that requires no curing time before floor coverings are laid and utilises a single trade to fit.
