About

Founded in 1978 Grant Engineering has been designing and manufacturing reliable heating products, starting with the back boiler and by 1996 their first combi oil-fired boiler was launched. In 2002, the Vortex range of condensing boilers was introduced to the UK and Ireland, way ahead of any mandatory legislation. Grant entered the renewables heating market in 2006 and their first air source heat pump range was launched in 2010. Over the years, Grant Engineering have continued to produce innovative heating solutions designed to heat homes efficiently while also reducing emissions. Today, their comprehensive product range provides choice for installers and homeowners, with heating solutions for many types of homes backed up with exceptional customer support.

Grant Aerona Air Source Heat Pump

Air Source Heat Pumps

Choosing the right heating system for your home, whilst making a conscientious effort to reduce the effect on the environment can be quite a challenge. Grant Engineering’s Aerona³ and Aerona 290 air-to-water heat pumps can reduce a home’s carbon foot-print whilst still providing exceptional performance and reliability. With 4 models available from 6kW to 17kW, the Aerona³ range uses R32 refrigerant and each model has a compact design to have minimal impact on the surroundings. The Aerona 290 is Grant’s latest generation of air source heat pumps using the more environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant. The Aerona 290 is available in five models from 4kW up to 15.5kW, all of which have the Quiet Mark accolade. All of Grant’s heat pumps are MCS approved, highly efficient, installer-friendly, simple to maintain and straightforward to control with the Aerona Smart Controller.

Grant Solar Collectors

Solar Thermal

Grant's range of Solar systems utilises the sun's power to provide hot water, reducing the reliance on fossil fuels and carbon emissions. The Grant Solar Collectors ensure maximum heat transfer due to their unique patented design, they can be used with gas, oil and renewable systems. They have a durable aluminium frame with a bronze anodised finish and can be fitted horizontal or vertical. The self-cleaning glass ensures they are low maintenance. Grant WinterSol accessory will provide a fully heated cylinder when there is low solar gain during the winter months, a simple summer/winter switch will allow the main heat source to heat the hot water cylinder when solar gain is reduced. A simple solution to combining a mains combination boiler with a thermal system is the Grant CombiSol which directs stored water, heated by the thermal system, to the combi boiler through the cold inlet. This ensures that the water is at the required temperature.
