Stainless Steel

For Reliability, stainless Steel is a good alternative to the traditional copper pipe and M-Press Fittings offer a 40 year installed warranty. Their range of fittings is ideal where large-sized fittings are required, such as in plant rooms. Stainless Steel will keep its appearance over time and has a very low scrap value compared to copper. Due to its excellent quality as a material, it is widely used in Europe and with UK specifications becoming more demanding Stainless Steel is an excellent choice.

Press Fittings

Press fittings are becoming very popular as an alternative flame-free jointing system. They are designed to be used on both hot and cold water, gas and solar thermal heating. The special elastomer seals can withstand temperatures up to 230°c. M-Press supplies a starter pack that contains the essentials to get started. Also available is the press tool with adjustable pressing jaws (15-28mm), it has a USB connection enabling you to download a history of presses as a final check before pressure testing to confirm all fittings have been marked off.
