Ventapipe from McAlpine is an innovative range of air admittance valves for use in above-ground drainage systems. In accordance with BS EN 12056-2:2000, the pipes provide a means of ventilation under reduced pressure conditions when pipes are terminated inside the building. Allowing for greater design flexibility, the pipes remove the need for roof penetration for the drainage system to end. It also offers more opportunities for adding additional appliances to the existing drainage system, when the system is either plastic or metal pipes. A cost-saving and genius solution, that reduces both material and labour.
