REMS was founded in 1909 and is now a leading manufacturer of machines and tools for pipe working. They began developing hand tools and then subsequently machines and electric power tools for sanitary and heating installers. Made in Germany, in a dedicated production plant with state of the art facilities to assist with continuing research and development. REMS’s innovative technology and high quality ensure its products are highly valued globally. Rems already has many national and international patents, and a team of highly skilled engineers continues to work to bring new products which will assist the installation process.

Rems has its own heat treatment shop and over decades they have built up an extensive knowledge that allows them to produce tools that are solid and robust for longer life. Computer technology monitors this process to ensure the same high quality throughout their product range, which includes:

Pipe Cutters

REMS' pipe cutting tools have a solid body made from forged steel, a telescopic spindle and 4 hardened back pressure rollers to ensure precise and easy cutting. The operating handle is made from metal to provide reliability and the ergonomic handle design makes it comfortable to use. The approved, die-steel quality cutter wheel is easily changed without tools and is restricted from coming into contact with the back rollers. Available in a variety of models including a model with an integrated pipe de-burring device.

Mini Press

Made from dedicated hardened steel, for durability, the jaws of Rems Mini Pressing Rings are manufactured by precision CNC machines. They are system specific for the respective press-fitting system to provide system conformity and safe pressing joint. Their compact design and special positioning of the pressing tongs connection ensure they are low weight. They are compatible with REMS Radial presses and are available in a wide range of sizes and styles.

REMS products meet the relevant standards according to the terms of the EU directives and also undergo stringent checks by independent testing agencies. This ensures that all products are of a very high calibre when it comes to safety at work.
