All products are proudly designed and made in Britain at Roman’s 400,000 square feet manufacturing site in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, offering the ultimate in quality, precision and craftsmanship. Each product is individually and legally tested to ensure it complies with CE and UKCA Marking. This not only covers material quality but also lifecycle testing, product impact testing, water integrity and traceability of the manufacturer. Product Portfolio

Roman supplies showering products all over the world including shower enclosures, bath screens, wetroom systems, solid surface anti-slip shower trays and solid surface fabrication of basins, vanity units and bathroom structures; with case goods and furniture integrated into their designs.

Roman offers specialist ranges for different market sectors. The Haven range offers 8 and 6mm glass options for all the major UK shower tray sizes and represents outstanding value for money. The Select wetroom range encompasses something for every wetroom design scenario imaginable with the choice of 8 or 10mm glass with the choice of six colour finishes – Polished Chrome, Matt Black, Brushed Brass, Brushed Nickel, Gun Metal and Brushed Bronze. . The Innov8 range encompasses minimalist 8mm frameless enclosures which lead the way in minimal, inclusive and stylish design trends. It presents a distinctively modern collection available in Polished Chrome, Matt Black or Brushed Brass. Roman also offers a huge range of bath screens that provide a high level of water integrity and are available in every shape, size and configuration imaginable.

Wetroom Panels

Roman's range of wetroom panels offers the opportunity for creating a more open shower enclosure. Coming in either 10mm or 8mm thick glass, the collection spans Roman's ranges including Liberty, Select, and Innov8. Available for either straight wall or corner configurations, they can either be installed flat to the floor or with the use of a shower tray. Sleek bracing bars match across the rest of the panels look to create a full cohesive finish and safely hold the panel up, in the option of six the six colour finishes.

Innov8

Roman's Innov8 collection is perfectly minimalist. A frameless design lends to the collection's overall striking appearance that adds to the modern appeal. Each piece is manufactured from 8mm thick glass to give a solid feel, while fast fix assembly allows for a quick and easy installation. The design of all the collections allows for each piece to be used with level entry shower trays for the look and feel of a walk-in enclosure without the cost and hassle.

Values

Roman has been accredited to ISO-14001 since 2009 and its manufacturing site in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham achieved carbon-neutral certification from the Carbon Trust in November 2021. With a huge focus on energy and water in addition to emissions from employees’ commuting, business travel and the treatment of waste generated in its operations. Roman also embeds circular economy principles and sustainability throughout their supply chain which is entirely focused upon levels of recycling before and after the life of a product. Sustainability permeates across every department and process which has an enormous impact on material selection, use of recycled materials and recyclability at end of life. Roman utilises materials such as aluminium, brass, and cardboard packaging that are all 100% recycled before use – with other materials such as glass close behind.
