About

Formed in 1991, Smiths Environmental Products is part of the Swan Group. They offer a viable alternative to traditional steel panel radiators in their range of effective and energy-efficient fan-assisted, hydronic heaters. They are based in Essex and manufacture their product range from raw material to finished products using computerised design and automated production techniques. Smiths have continued to grow by developing their product range and improving their manufacturing process to provide versatile heating and cooling products.

Whether it’s heating for kitchens or other rooms their hydronic heaters are perfect where space is at a premium. Hydronic heaters connect to any wet central heating system and work by drawing in cool air which is heated and expelled back into the room, they are perfect for heating systems using ground source and air-source heat pumps as well as traditional gas- and oil-fired boilers. Using only 5% of the hot water used by traditional radiators, these units are economical, take up less space than traditional radiators, provide warm air much quicker than traditional radiators and are cool to touch for safety:

Space Saver Plinth Heater

Saving valuable space in the kitchen by replacing the standard radiator with a Space-Saving Plinth Heater. Fitting neatly into the plinth of the kitchen units they run of the central heating system or electric only and dual fuel. There is a choice of models to suit the size of the kitchen and various finishes of the facia grille to complement the colour scheme. They provide an efficient heating solution whilst freeing up space for extra cupboards.

Ecovector

Smiths' range of Ecovector fan convectors are available to suit varied installations including Vertical, Low Level, High Level and Smart control. They can heat a room quicker than the traditional radiator reducing the time your boiler is working saving energy and money. Vertical fan convectors are ideal for smaller spaces like hallways, while the low-level model heats the room from the floor upwards and the high level is the solution for rooms with reduced lower wall space such as shops. The Smart control has a digital control panel with fan, time and temperature control.
