Product Portfolio

The all-important UNICO flexible supply tubing and discrete outlets means you can install a premium air conditioning system into most of any UK residential property but it is important to give careful consideration to the location on the AHU and the main central duct as early as possible in the design and decision-making process.

Air Handlers

Quick and easy to install, Unico's modular AHU (Air Handler Unit) is at the heart of every system and incorporates their variable speed Fan Motor and their ultra-efficient coils and return air module which is perfectly managed by their intelligent S.M.A.R.T control panel which is the brain behind the system.

Central Duct

The main central duct connects to the main AHU (air handler unit) and then feeds Unico's flexible supply duct tubing before discharging the conditioned air via their discrete outlets. The design and sizing of the main central duct needs careful consideration at the very beginning of the design process.

Supply Tubing

Unico supply tubing is generally supplied in 12’ lengths and can easily fit between joists, weaving through ceilings, walls, and floors and into the fabrication of the home. The standard supply tube is 51mm ID (internal diameter) and can be supplied as individual items, single outlet kits or a 6-piece pack depending on the system design.

Outlets

Unico round outlets are available in a variety of colours and materials but the most popular is their white plastic outlet which can be painted to match and blend with your interior décor.

Unico slotted outlets are also becoming more popular as they can be configured into various designs for a more minimalistic and modern look. The standard size (1/2″x8″) and is also available in a selection of colours and materials.

Return Air Filters

Each system requires a return air duct that is sized according to the property and matching air handler unit. The return air grill is usually located in a central area of the property such as the landing or close to the loft hatch or access point. Return air ducts can be made of any material, provided it is acoustic and sized according to the ACCA Manual “D” guidelines.

Controls

The UNICO system can be adjusted quickly and effectively to maintain the precise comfort level all year round. This can be done automatically with a suitable effective programmable room thermostat and associated controls.
