Starting as a small engineering firm in Worcester in 1962, Worcester is now one of the leading manufacturers of boilers. With 60 years of experience, their journey has been one of innovation and development, with the introduction of the revolutionary combi boiler to the UK in 1971. They became part of the worldwide Bosch group and play an important part in Europe’s domestic heating company. A purpose-built training academy was opened in 2003 enabling installers to be fully equipped to install the Worcester range of boilers. Constantly striving to provide new solutions for warming lives, which will also safeguard the environment.

Boilers

Worcester Bosch provides a wide range of boilers to suit a variety of home installations. In combi, system and regular styles, they have options that operate off gas, propane (LPG) and oil fuel types. Their combi boiler range has the ultra modernly designed Greenstar 8000 range that are made for larger homes, whereas the Greenstar Si Compact is perfect for those small to medium homes. In the same style as the combi version, the Greenstar 800 system boiler requires a separate cylinder to store the hot water it produces and is perfect for larger homes. For a more versatile option the Greenstar I comes in either a 27kW to 30kW version for those with higher heating demands and a 9kW to 24kW that is made to fit standard property sizes. Worcester Bosch's regular boiler also comes in their modern Greenstar 8000 range, making this range super versatile. For those with smaller homes or require a space-saving design, the Greenstar Ri comes in two sizes and can be used in conjunction with their range of Greenskies Solar Panels and Hot Water Cylinders.

Smart Thermostats

Bosch's EasyControl is at the forefront of smart thermostat innovation. Connected to the internet, it allows for the remote control of the heating via an app on either a smartphone or tablet. The EasyControl is aesthetically pleasing as well as being highly innovative, coming in either a black or white finish the stylish design has a modern look. Ambient colours change within the thermostat to give information as to how modes are changing and Farsight shows other practical information such as the weather outside. Ideal for those who want to know and control everything about their heating system, when used with Bosch's Smart TRV's heating of each room can be easily controlled to help with efficiency and reduce energy bills.

Values

Sustainability is at the centre of Worcester’s ethos, they are striving to protect the environment with innovative technology, considerate manufacturing processes, and the way products are packaged and transported. With their own dedicated re-cycling team to ensure no waste is sent to landfills and an efficient Air Handling Unit installed in the Worcester headquarters to recover heat and energy. This equates to the carbon emission of 56 employees in 1 year being eliminated.
